Modeling、analysis and control of multiple web server system

In this paper, the Web server and the communication network are considered as one system to con- struct a novel performance analysis model for Web server system,This model is also extended to multiple-server system. After analysis the effects of the parameters on the performance, the speed rule to add new server are in- vestigated. Then, several schemes for improving Web server performance based on different congest conditions are evaluated and compared. Finally, some issues of traffic balance for multiple server system are studied.It has practical meaning for network managing, planning, and upgrade.
