Coordinate Structures in English Attributive Clause——An Analysis of Syntactic differences between English and Chinese

The present paper explores the use of coordinate structures in translating English attributive clauses,based on an analysis of the syntactic differences between English and Chinese.It is pointed out that such coordinate structures can be sequential,reverted and independent.The use of such structures can be effective to the transference of cultural message in E-C translation as well as production of a more idiomatic text in C-E translation
