Importance of Testing Methods for Characterizing Electrical Parameter Level of Diode

The electrical parameter of the rectifier diode should be reflected with its absolute maximum ratings and electrical characteristics , while the absolute maximum ratings should be reflected with results of electrical characteristics parameter after testing. Electrical characteristics parameter level should be determined with electrical testing. Electrical characteristic targets of the rectifier diode are not only concerned in testing conditions and environment conditions, but concerned in testing methods is more important. This thesis discusses how the testing methods affect electrical parameter of the rectifier diode.
