Joint Operational Effectiveness Assessment Based on Operations Simulation

The paper adopts index method to calculate the joint operational capabilities by quantifying the striking capabilities, maneuver capabilities, defense capabilities, information capabilities and guarantee capabilities. The paper calculates the resultant force of armament equipment by computing resultant vector. And, the paper discusses how to quantify and analyse the whole joint operational capabilities by using the method which calculate the cooperating coefficient. Finally, the paper uses index-lanchester equations to assess the effectiveness of joint operations.
