Blind Reconnaissance and Recognition Technology for Spectrum Overlapping Radio Signals

Yang Bao-pin · 2014

The conventional reconnaissance method based on time-frequency analysis is difficult to intercept and recognize the overlapping spectrum radio signals in complex electromagnetic environment. Based on the algorithm of maximum signal-to-noise ratio(SNR), the blind reconnaissance and recognition technology was proposed. The characteristics of complex electromagnetic environment and the blind source separation(BSS) algorithms were analyzed, and the algorithm of maximum SNR was investigated. Theoretical analysis shows that the algorithm of maximum SNR performs better in speed. The blind reconnaissance and recognition model was established, the simulation was implemented to separate and extract the four-channel overlapping spectrum radio signals and the electromagnetic information of targets could be achieved directly with frequency-domain analysis. The simulation result demonstrates the BSS model can be used to separate overlapping spectrum radio signals and enables a means for signal reconnaissance and recognition.
