Cooperated Bidding Algorithm for Spectrum Allocation Based on Maximal Independent Set

Graph theory is an effective way to solve the problem of dynamic spectrum allocation in cognitive radio.As the current distributed greedy algorithm based on capacity and the distributed random algorithm based on complexity are inefficient,an improved cooperated bidding algorithm based on maximal independent set is proposed.This mechanism can obtain the utility of primary users easily for the cooperated users in the MIS giving a bid higher than the maximum revenue of the users outside the MIS.Therefore this method can maximize the spectrum utilization including both primary and cognitive users.In addition,it also can resistant user collusion in some extent.
