Theoretical Analysis and Synthetical Design of Filters in GC5016

The synthetical design result of the CIC(Cascade Integrator Comb) filter and PFIR(Programmable Finite Impulse Response) filter in GC5016 directly effects the quality of signal processing. But the datasheet doesn′t detailedly expatiate upon the content about the filters′ design, because the signal processing is much complex. So this paper theoretically analyses and further studies the two filters' structures and the signal spectrum's change before or after the filters based on the signal processing, and then proposes a synthetical design scheme. Finally,it gives the simulation results with Matlab.
