Moving Target Parameter Estimation Algorithm Based on Contrast Optimization

A moving target parameter estimation algorithm based on contrast optimization criterion was proposed.The algorithm aims at the existence of along-track velocity component.By two-dimensional searching the velocity components,the peak magnitude of the contrast function corresponds to the best estimation of along-track and radial velocity.The moving target parameter estimation method was analyzed in detail and it could enhance the estimation accuracy obviously.Finally,the algorithm was verified by both simulated and measured SAR data.
