Research and Design of Instant Message Monitor System

For the security issues of extensively-used instant messenger software MSN at present,and based on specific analysis of the communication protocol. a special monitoring system is designed. With LAN monitoring as its goal,the system focuses the monitoring on MSN text information. The performance test on the designed system show that the system has good performance,thus could meet the security requirements in monitoring instant messenger without any change of the existing network configuration and any influence of the network operation efficiency.
