DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF IP MULTICAST VIDEO CONFERENCING SYSTEM BASED ON JAIN SIP/JMF

To solve the too heavy load problem in centralized video conferencing system,in this paper it has discussed the design of SIP and IP multicast-based desktop video conferencing system on the basis of NISP-SIP open source protocol stack.The SIP signalling centrally processing with JAIN SIP technique and the decentralized audio/video multimedia streaming transmission with JMF technique are illustrated in detail,so as to improve the possible too long delay and jitter in network when too many conference participants receive multimedia audio and video streaming simultaneously,and to reduce the burden of the server.
