An Improvement on Sweden Method of Slices

Hu Jian · Soil Engineering and Foundation · 2008

Sweden method of slices is a classical arithmetic in slide stability analysis, but its' accounting process is comparatively complex that we must do new slices for a newly given sliding arc when searching the most dangerous sliding arc. The improvement of Sweden method of slices in this text is realized by a integral method which simplifies the stable coefficient of Sweden method of slices to a unitary function that we need not to do slices when counting the stable coefficient. This method simplifies the counting of stable coefficient and improves the searching of the most dangerous sliding arc, so it's propitious to weave electronic accounting program.
