Research and development of Flood Risk Mapping Management Information Platform of lower Yellow River

Based on model base,knowledge base and data warehouse,the Flood Risk Mapping Management Information Platform of the lower Yellow River is developed with application of 3-tier architecture of J2EE and mid-ware technique in combination with MVC design pattern and all the mid-ware services concerned on the basis of the net share based distributed data service system.The system is integrated with all the functions of the four applied systems of the flood risk mapping information of floodplain of the lower Yellow River,the flood storage and detention area of Dongpinghu Lake,Jinan section of the Yellow River Dike and Jinan City.With this platform,the data of the hydrology and meteorology,information from relevant flood control projects,flood hazard and flood control management can be conveniently enquired,meanwhile,all the probable maximum inundated area,inundated depth,flow velocity under various flood frequencies can be simulated with flood simulation and loss assessment,and the flood loss,safety and rescue decision-making supporting etc.can be realized as well.
