Research and implementation of improved direction diffused-based mobile agent mechanism for wireless sensor networks

The ideal of mobile agent(MA) is a new and effective method for solving the data fusion problem in the wireless sensor networks(WSNs).Hence,proposed a novel improved directed diffusion(DD) based MA mechanism(IDDMA) for WSNs.First of all,according to the DD protocol,IDDMA made the MA framework available in the WSNs by extending the protocol interfaces of DD and adding the MAEE(mobile agent execution environment) filter to the DD framework.Then,presented an improved DD(IDD) algorithm.IDDMA used the IDD to set upoptimum gradientsthe most important information in IDD to guide the MA migrate from one node to another effectively.Simulation results show that the IDDMA has better performance than original DD and original DD-based MA mechanism.
