Teaching Kinematics of a Particle with Sketchpad

Kinematics of a particle is the basis for common moving objects,and is important for studying of kinematics and dynamics.In this paper,four examples are presented to demonstrate how to combine interactive animation of Sketchpad with class teaching,which gives a very direct method for kinematics of a particle.At the same time,hard points in teaching become quite easy.Comparison between two groups indicates a better result of using Sketchpad in teaching.
