Design of Information Service System for Public Transport Based on WebGIS

Urban public transports are important infrastructure closely related with people's production and life.With the development on social economic and rapid urbanization,traffic congestion and problems of mass transportation is becoming increasingly conspicuous.This paper discussed how to development the information service system of public transport to use the technology of spatial database,WebGIS,computer networking and floating car data processing,and build the web which face the public service base the WebGIS technology.The paper analyzed current situation of public transports service at home and abroad,and the technical design and detail function service module aiming at the request of information service on mass transportation are given.
