Geological and geophysical data management system based on ArcIMS for South China Sea

Combining the technologies of computer network,WebGIS and database,the authors design a functional module of general structure and database architecture for the geological and geophysical data system of the South China Sea.The design is based on theoretic and methodological analyses of integration storage,enquiry and distribution of the system.With the application of ArcIMS technology,share and publication of the geological and geophysical data system are realized so that users can browse these data through web interface easily.
