Advanced orbit system(AOS) is established to manage the data of satellite-satellite and satellite-ground by Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems(CCSDS).Based on the AOS agreement and the characteristics of the data obtained from the remote sensing satellite on orbit,a space data processing system has been designed to deal with the data with different speed, byte, transmission and time delay requirement to get the uniform virtual channel data unit(VCDU) format and to transmit the data in the form of successive data stream through satellite-ground physical channel.Simulation experiments have been carried out and the results show that the system is effective in organizing, managing and transmitting the remotely sensed data obtained from high resolution remote sensing satellites.A reliable data base for processing in the fields of geomatics and remote sensing has been provided.
