Heartbeat detection and fault assessment for cloud data center

To improve the survivability of the cloud data center,aiming at numerous fault issues which are brought about by the increasing complexity of the software and hardware,a kind of heartbeat detection and fault assessment scheme ensuring the efficient cloud data center operation was put forward,which was based on the traditional server heartbeat detection mechanism and combined with the characteristics of cloud computing.The simulation on the platform in the laboratory was carried out.Results show that the scheme can detect failure nodes in time and evaluate fault level by using fuzzy integration method according to the established standard,providing the basic reference and guarantee for management and operation of the cloud data center.
