Study of Turning On-line Measurement Equipment

Roller measurement can be used to measure the diameter of the workpiece on-line when it is processed.The contact switch was used on the equipment to get the information of the workpiece and the measurement roller,then it was transferred to MCS-51 SCM.The diameter and the rev were obtained after the information was calculated.In this equipment,the rubber is fixed on the measurement roller.In this way,the skid between the measurement roller and the workpiece can be avoided.This equipment can be used to measure the diameter of the workpiece well without stopping lathe.
