Design and implementation of tunnel construction supervisory system based on wireless sensor network

To overcome the weakness of the traditional wired tunnel construction supervisory system,the flexibility of the wireless sensor network is used to propose a new design of the wireless tunnel construction supervisory system.The design and implementation of the system is described including WSN node hardware and software design,WSN constructing,gateway selecting,and upper monitoring software.From the experiments,compared with the traditional supervisory system,it is more accurate,convenient,extendible and low-cost which improves the safety of the whole system.
