Multi-Parameter Estimation of Wide-Band Signals in Impulsive Noise

A new covariation matrix-based method is proposed for joint estimation of frequency,2-D arrival angles and polarization parameters of wide-band signals.Firstly a time-space covariation matrix is established by temporal and spatial data of a nonuniform L-shaped polarization sensitive array, then multidimensional parameters of wide-band signals can be obtained from its eigenvalues and corresponding eigenvectors. In case of impulsive noise, this algorithm can estimate precisely multidimensional parameters of signals, and does not need search for multidimensional spectrum peak with parameters pairing automatically. In addition,it can still estimate correctly multidimensional parameters of signals for signals having same parameters.Computer simulation confirms its effectiveness.
