RTT Unfairness of HSTCP and Its Analysis

Traditional TCP can’t make good use of the high-speed network’s bandwidth because of the long loss recovery time and low loss support rate, which makes it difficult to realize bulk date transfer. HSTCP is one solution to solve this problem, which modifies the congestion control mechanism to have the characteristics of TCP friendliness in high loss rate environment and high scalability in low loss rate environment.However, many simulations confirm that there exist severe RTT unfairness problem, and then a model is used to analyze the phenomena.
