The application of factor analysis in the stock evaluation

Using 10 financial indexes in the financial statements of 2001 of 611 listed companies ,the paper carries out the factor analysis by SAS software.These 10 indexes are condensed into 3 factors ,which have specific significations separately.Finally,the paper evaluates every stock based on its three factor scores.
