In the face of the huge number of multimedia data,there are no effective ways for information re- trieval.In order to improve the extent of intelligence and correctness of multimedia information retrieval,in- formation retrieval must be based on semantics.The research on generating MPEG-7 semantic metadata com- mon reference model based on RDFS in virtue of the“Multimedia Content Description Interface”(MPEG-7) and“Resource Description Frame Schema”(RDFS) is carried on.And a frame of intelligent multimedia in- formation retrieval system based on semantic is also put forward.
