Real-time control systems implemented with traditional methods are usually both hard to maintain and reuse. This paper presents a real-time software development environment for implementation of control system. A new dedicated language for writing control applications is presented. The language is designed to support features characteristic to control implementation and reuse of code. An interactive run-time system which allows on-line editing on running systems is also presented. 1.
