Design of Online Entrance Guard System Based on RFID Technology

Based on the study of the RFID technology, this paper introduces a kind of on-line entrance guard system of contact-less IC card based on the RS485 and TCP/IP protocol, and proposes the solution of the whole system. The system adopts distributed structure and centralized control strategy, which consists three levels: management server, PC on the every floor, entrance guard read-er device. Compared with the traditional products, this system has more advantages. The paper expounds the principle, hardware and software design of the entrance guard reader device which take single-chip of MCS-51 as core and Philips's MFRC530 as the RF base station. Practice shows that the system works stable, real-time performance is good and the scheme is feasible.
