Compatibility Research of Multiplex Network Management Protocol with SNMP and CMIP
Wang Guang-xing · Mini-micro Systems · 2005
With the development of spaceflight, space networks have been the research focus. In network management fields, current network management protocols, such as SNMP, CMIP, will not fit for the space networks. MNMP (multiplex network management protocol) is a new protocol, whose architecture is compatible to the space networks. This paper is complementarities to MNMP prototype. Compatible mode for MNMP to SNMP and CMIP is defined in detail. It makes that MNMP management process is compatible with SNMP and CMIP devices.
