A Constructional Approach towards Chinese "ADV+N" Construction

The paper aims at analyzing the generation of Chinese ADV+N construction.It holds that it is the result of the extension of gradable adverb + X construction schema in Chinese,which coerces the noun entering it into meaning shift.The mechanism behind this meaning operation is metonymy,which is a ubiquitous phenomenon in human languages.
