Fault Diagnosis of Rotating Machine Based on Information Fusion

A brief description of the multi-sensor information fusion technology is made.Combining with the requirements and properties of vibration fault diagnosis system for rotating machines,a discussion of the basic hierarchical structure of the diagnostic system by using the information fusion technology is carried out,making the hierarchy of information fusion to correspond with the functions of fault diagnosis.A model of information fusion for vibration fault diagnosis of rotating machine is put forward.Neural networks and evidence theory are combined to diagnose faults,which improves the ability,efficiency and accuracy of the fault diagnosis.
