Analysis of GIS Development in China

This paper presented a new view that GIS has being become a new science,has become a new specialty in our university,and a hot of scientific research,new information industry,the paper also analyzed GIS software with independent property rights in China. It introduced the GIS-used industry,introduced that GIS can be widely used from the establishment of state basic geographic information system,of digital city. Finally,it introduced the developing trend of GIS from the perspective system.
