Low-cost scheme to collect and store temperature data

A scheme of date collection and storage for small-or-medium-scaled monitoring system is presented.Communications connection is established under free-port mode between PLC and PC,where the S7-200PLC acts as a temperature collector and runs to send the date to the host computer.With VB6.0 as its software programming tool,the host computer runs to display the data in real-time,and to store the data in an Access Database for further browse,query and analysis.Experimental results show that this scheme can collect and store data stably and reliably,thus,it provided a low-cost reference to the designing of small-or-medium-scaled monitoring system.
