Objective To study the models of peer leader education related to healthy sex behavior and to provide information for interventions targeted to long-distance truck drivers.Methods The education methods include individual interviews,subgroup discussions,working team of peer leaders and their training networks.Results The effects of the interventions proved to be effective.The peer leader education networks were set up,in which the major organizers were passenger-transportation companies and multiple models of peer leader training,involvement of various actors and appropriate interventions were adopted.Conclusion The peer leader education networks provide sustainable community based interventions for long-distance truck drivers to help them develop healthy sex behaviors.
