Improvement of LSP Vector Quantization Method

This paper introduces the basic principle of LSP of 8 kbit/s CS-ACELP speech coding algorithm, describes the LSP parameters in detail, and gives the transform process from LPC coefficients to LSP parameters. Moreover, the paper analyses the LSP quantization method of the algorithm, puts forward two improved methods. The simulation experiments have proved the effectiveness of the new method.
