A DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR FARMLAND WATER MANAGEMENT

Based on the characteristics of farmland water management, the necessity of building the decision support system for farmland water management is expounded in this paper. The model and methods of acquisition and treatment of farmland information and farmland irrigation forecast are introduced. The function and structure of the decision support system for farmland water management are discussed. The decision support system for farmland water management, which is developed by using fairly good interface solfwares such as Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Foxpro, Mapinfo, is especilly practical, brief and suitable.
