Subpixel registration method based on wavelet analysis

Image registration is an important task in the field of computer vision and pattern recognition,and is applied in remote sensing,medical imaging and object indentifying of multi-sensor fusion.In this paper,a new subpixel registration method based on wavelet analysis was proposed by improving polynomial subdivision algorithm and pixel level registration.Furthermore,the precision of the method was also analyzed.The simulation results show that the methods can reach the precision of sub-pixel.
