A new method to find data dependencies in marine environment database

How to design the data model with 3NF is a critical point in the database applications.Based on the lack of definite data dependencies among the data,special surveys and absent business logic,in the marine environment database,a new method to find data dependencies in existing data model presented and applied to normalization of database model.Through theoretical analysis and practical applications,the data model of marine environment database designed by this method is up to 3NF and has been successfully applied in many fields such as aided decision-making information system for the disaster mitigation of storm surge.
