Analysis of critical factors affecting personal software process

The descriptive model and data analysis model are introduced on the basis of the structure and properity of personal software process (PSP). The critical factors that influence defection density (DOS) and defection removal rate (DRR) are analyzed by means of diagrams. A quadratic relationship between the dependent variables DDS, DRR and their corresponding independent variables is established. The instructive conclusions that the A/ FR and YIELD are the most important two factors affecting PSP and they need special attention during the software development process are drawn.
