The application of classification method based on object-oriented in the construction of land use database

Land use database is very significant in land management,Land-use dynamic monitor and land change survey.This paper mainly introduces the technical flow for construction of land use database.A case study for Wu ling yuan district of Zhang Jia Jie is performed.Based on object-oriented,the new classification method segments the high resolution images quickly and classifies them automatically.The classification result can be translated into various GIS platforms effectively for topological building and properties editing to correlate graphic data with attribute data,and then the Land Survey Database is completed.Experiment indicates that this method can improve the quality and level of database construction effectively,and get a favorable effect.
