Design and implementation of a converter between binary & binary-coded decimal

The conversion between binary and decimal is necessary in many measuring and control system. It is usually implemented by software.A converter between BIN and BCD is designed based on a new shifting algorithm. It has high convertion speed and simple structure. The structure of the converter is expressed in VHDL, and it is implemented in EPF10K10LC84-3.
