An Implementation of User-Level Network Protocols Based on Early Demultiplexing
Peng Zou · Computer Engineering and Science · 2006
Traditionally, network software has been structured in a monolithic fashion with all protocol stacks executing within the kernel .This organization is not conducive to debugging and developing or extending protocols. We solve these problems by implementing the protocols as a user library, but other problems come out ,especially package demultiplexing and IP fragments. Thus,we present a solution to resolving them.
