Zhou Sheng-yuan · Guangxi Communication Technology · 2007
Resilient packet ring(RPR) and ethernet are one of the most important technology in MAN and LAN,respectively, both of which have its own characteristic. With the carrier ethernet characteristic,we introduce the management ways and the network frame of RPR into ethernet and bring up a new metro network-resilient ethernet ring which is based the basic protocol and frame of ethernet. This way can perfect ethernet protocol and let ethernet become the carrier ethernet.
