Wireless sensor networks is energy-constrained networks, coverage rates and energy consumption are two important performace indicators.Maximize the network coverage and minimize the number of working nodes as a network optimization goal, established an optimal model for coverage in wireless sensor network. To utilize the characteristics of parallel and fast convergence, proposed a coverage optimization strategy based on fish swarm algorithm. Simulation results show that the algorithm can get an optimal selection of the set of nodes and improve the real-time capability of nodes scheduling.
