Implementation of OLAP Based on Multidimensional Database

More and more fields and business organizations find it necessary to analyze and deal with the large quantity of information and data as the development of society and technology.With the maturement of the database technology and the continuous development of the corresponding technology on data warehouse,focus on the solution of an OLAP technology prototype platform based on the multidimentional database.Complete the design and implementation through placing extra emphasis on the implementation of multidimentional database model and the design of the data analysis fuction.The key techonolgy and difficulty about how to design and implement the prototype platform was mainly discussed then.Finally,a practical data analysis case of an information system was applied on this platform which verified the practicability and availability on the function of the platform.
