Objective:To apply three groups of presupposed filter function, reconstruct the raw data about the normal pancreatic arterial phase obtained by multi-slices enhancement scanning and explore the relationship between CT filter function and image noise of normal pancreas. Methods: Multi-slices scans with the same parameter were performed on 40 patients of normal pancreas admitted in Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College from June 2010 to December 2010.After that, other reconstructed parameters were fixed and filter functions of FC10、FC21and FC30 were respectively applied to reconstruct the raw data about the pancreatic arterial phase and then three corresponding groups of images,Group A,Group B and Group C,were obtained. The same positions of the three groups of image were chosen and the CT values and standard deviations of the regions of interest from the central layer of the head, body and tail of pancreas were measured. The mean values of the obtained standard deviations were considered as the values of pancreatic image noise, which were then statistically analyzed. Results: The value of pancreatic image noise of Group A,Group B and Group C was 12.67±1.95,12.48±1.80 and 55.71±8.00 respectively. No statistically significant difference was found between Group A and B(p0.05),while there existed an obviously statistically significant difference between Group C and Group A or Group B(p0.01).Conclusion: In order to ensure the quality of pancreatic image,it is of vital importance to reduce the noise and reconstruct the filter function of pancreatic image.
