Wang Sheng-ba · Machine Tool & Hydraulics · 2003
The audio communication between computers has many applications in modern society. This paper discusses how to realize realtime diplex audio communication by WinSock in Windows environment. The paper mainly deals with how to complete audio data transmission by Winsock, how to realize realtime audio collecting, processing and playing, and how to compress audio data with ACM. Noise and delay are the primary problems to be solved during developing this kind of software. The paper analyzes the causes of noise and delay, and employs appropriate method to control them. Since some factors are contradictory with each other, the paper tries to obtain the best combination of them.
