THE EXPLORATION AND TRIAL FOR SPEEDING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A ASSEMBLER

In this paper, a in-use assembler is analyzed, and a method——subassembly——by which a assembler may be implemen(?)ed more quickly on a bar(?) machine is put forward. The subassembly allows programmer to write his assembler in the language that is a subset of the assembly language to be developed; only the subassembler corresponding to the subset is written in machine code; the size of the subass(?)mbler is only about one-tenth of the assembler, and the implementation of the subassombler is much simpler and easier than that of the Whole assembler.
