Virtual private network (VPN) is a new way of structuring dedicated network which is based on the tight combination of computer technology and communication technology, at the same time VPN is a new kind of network service of public communication networks This paper discusses VPN working on IP network(IP-VPN), and it also focuses on tunneling technology and associated secure access protocols
