Design and implement for home gateway UPnP device remote access and security control

The development of smart terminal and the network technology make the digital home network more popular.UPnP protocol can support devices and services in home network,but the protocol itself has a big security problem which may bring to the digital home network.In this paper,an authentication service is added onto the home gateway device.Remote users must do an identity authentication before taking any other action to the home network devices.At the same time,all the devices and services within the home network have been centralized on the home gateway device for the control and management.This measurement can effectively protect the home network devices.
