The geographical information system is adopted as support software of navy operational radio frequency management system by analyzing the requirements for data and geographical information when it run its function, with the real background of navy operational radio frequency management system . The main characteristics and technical supports of MapInfo software of desk geographical information system is also analyzed in details, and a design scheme of navy operational radio frequency management system on the basis of MapInfo software platform is proposed in combination with functional requirements as stated above.
