The constant development of VPN service brings a lot of challenge toVPN management,this paper presents one kind of computer techniques-multi-agent technique to manage VPN. The technique possesses features of intelligence,cooperation,flexibility and expansion etc. It can solve problems of different network architectures and different network service providers. Both client and service provider will win together. This multi-agent based computer technique is very important for solving these problems.
